On the West Coast, Jacob Snider’s music has been featured on KCRW, while on the East Coast he’s been named Best New Artist by NPR-affiliate WXPN. Snider recently released his debut album, CARRIER (featuring Armand Hirsch), produced in LA by Tony Berg (Andrew Bird, Blake Mills, Lucius). The strings were arranged/performed by Rob Moose, known for his work with Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, and Ben Folds. A graduate of Columbia University for composition, Snider has performed at South by Southwest, The Philadelphia Folk Festival, and Irving Plaza, among others, and has shared stages with Matisyahu, Kate Davis, and The Civil Wars.
