On the west coast, Jacob Snider’s music has been featured on KCRW, while on the east coast he’s been named Best New Artist by NPR-affiliate WXPN. Snider recently released his debut album, Carrier (featuring Armand Hirsch), produced in LA by Tony Berg (Andrew Bird, Blake Mills, Lucius). The album’s strings were arranged by Rob Moose, known for his work with Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, and Ben Folds. While attending Columbia University for composition, Snider performed at SXSW, The Philadelphia Folk Festival, and Irving Plaza, among others, sharing stages with Matisyahu, Kate Davis, and The Civil Wars along the way.
