“Carrier” Released

After a year and a few months in the making, the record’s officially been released. As of today, “Carrier” is available on Bandcamp, iTunes, and Spotify. It features Armand Hirsch on many instruments and it would not be what it is without him. Tony Berg produced it at his studio called Zeitgeist in Los Angeles. Strings were composed and performed by Rob Moose. Jesca Hoop sings on the final song. It was mixed by Brandon Duncan and Tony Berg, and mastered by Bob Ludwig. And I now express my deepest thanks and gratitude to all these people who helped me make this.

Here’s a new song, “Wonder.”
It’s streaming all week on the Bandcamp homepage, thanks to chief curator Andrew Jervis.

This Friday in NYC, Kate DavisArmand HirschMike Brun & I will be performing at Rockwood Music Hall for the //Ear Candy//HMG Public Relations//CMJ 2013 Showcase// at 12PM. This also seems as good a time as ever to announce that, with Armand Hirsch as a heavy contributor, I am making a full record with producer Tony Berg. He is known for many things, including his work with Blake Mills, Fiona Apple, Phantom Planet, Lucius; signing Beck…but most importantly to me, he is a truly great creative collaborator — we are making some crazy things in our cocoon — and I can’t wait to share it when it’s done. In the meantime, goodbye, & see you Friday.
